A university degree completed with an overall grade of "good" or B according to the ECTS grading scale or better, or an equivalent degree from a German or foreign university, normally comprising 210 credits, but at least 180 credits. The Master's Committee decides on equivalence. In the case of a first degree not in economics, basic knowledge of economics must be demonstrated before beginning the Master's program. Further details (in particular, the type and extent of basic knowledge, and the latest date for providing evidence) will be determined by the Master's Committee.

b) Sufficient knowledge of business practice in companies, public authorities, or comparable organizations. Evidence of this can be provided by:

ƒ a practical semester during the preparatory studies, or

ƒ completed vocational training, or

ƒ a continuous, relevant practical experience of at least 20 weeks. The Master's Committee decides on relevance. In justified exceptional cases of insufficient operational experience, the Master's Committee may determine how and by what date the requirements must be met.
