About the programme
Intelligence and Motion (Intelligenz und Bewegung) at Bielefeld University is an interdisciplinary four-semester Master of Science worth 120 credit points, with starts in the winter or the summer semester. It focuses on the human movement system and its links to cognitive skills such as intelligence and memory, combining science and cognitive science foundations with modern methods of movement and memory analysis. You learn experimental work with quantitative sports science research methods, such as kinematic movement analysis, electroencephalography and memory analysis, and you learn to apply, develop and evaluate movement-based training and rehabilitation, including with virtual and augmented reality. You can focus on sport and movement, sport and technology, or both. It suits graduates aiming for movement and performance diagnostics in clubs, associations, companies or fitness and health sport, rehabilitation and sports therapy, or developing cognitive and motor assistance systems.
