What you'll do
- Prepare and simplify mechanical CAD assemblies for 3D full wave electromagnetic simulation
- Run electromagnetic simulations to investigate field changes caused by mechanical movement
- Set parameters and automate simulation runs using scripts to systematically generate data and error patterns.
- Compare simulation results with selected real measurements to validate the simulation to reality approach
What you need
- Master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, Computational Engineering or a comparable subject
- Solid knowledge of electrodynamics, wave propagation, cavity resonators and radio frequency engineering
- Practical experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation software, such as ANSYS HFSS or CST MWS
- Good Python or MATLAB skills for automation and data analysis
- Very good spoken and written German and English
