About the programme

Logistics (Logistik) at West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau is a Master of Science taught in German, three semesters (90 ECTS) full time or six semesters part time, with starts in the summer or the winter semester. Logistics is a cross-industry discipline that keeps production and markets supplied, inside a company and together with suppliers and customers, by moving goods and steering flows of materials and information. You gain in-depth knowledge of logistics, economics and information technology, deepen your ability to plan and run logistics systems, and learn to apply established methods and theories to current logistics problems. It suits graduates who want to plan and control transport, warehousing and order-picking processes in procurement, production or distribution, for example in the automotive, electronics or food industry, machine and plant engineering, retail, logistics services or infrastructure, or to move into research and a doctorate.
