About the programme

Embedded and Autonomous Systems at West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau is a consecutive, full-time Master of Science taught in English. It takes four semesters (120 ECTS) and starts in the winter semester. The programme is about systems in which vehicles navigate on their own, machines make independent decisions and networked systems work together. The first semester covers digital signal processing, systems engineering, software engineering, scientific methods, and measurement and systems technology. The second brings electric drive systems, programming of embedded systems, distributed systems, and vehicle dynamics and control. The third covers model-driven software engineering, a software project, algorithms for autonomous systems and a research project on autonomous systems, with language and interdisciplinary skills and electives along the way. The fourth semester is for your Master's thesis. It suits graduates aiming for research and development, project management or leadership in the automotive, aerospace or robotics industries, or a doctorate.
