About the programme

Environmental Sciences is an English-taught M.Sc. at Trier University over 4 semesters with 120 credits, and you can start in the winter or summer semester. You specialise in one of these areas: Environmental Monitoring and Pollution Assessment; Environmental Remote Sensing and Modelling, with a track in either environmental remote sensing or environmental meteorology; or Environmental Conservation and Restoration Management. Admission needs a suitable Bachelor's degree with a minimum grade, and the subject's examination board decides whether your degree qualifies. A stay abroad is not required but is recommended, and the university supports study and internship stays abroad through exchange programmes. It suits graduates who want to specialise in monitoring, modelling or protecting the environment.
