Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of the bachelor’s degree programme in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science or Computer Science at the University of Kassel, or an equivalent degree programme
  • and proof of a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters and 180 credits with a final grade of at least “good.”
  • and proof of sufficient English proficiency through
  • an international language certificate at the B2 level (opens in a new tab) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • External applicants must also submit a supplementary application form with their application

If prerequisites for admission to the master’s program are not met, the admissions committee may grant admission on the condition that, by the time of registration for the master’s thesis, the applicant demonstrates that any missing knowledge has been acquired by successfully completing specific bachelor’s modules totaling a maximum of 30 credits.
