About the programme

The MBA with a specialisation in Shipping and Logistics is an English-taught programme at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), offered in Hamburg and Dubai. It takes 3 semesters (90 ECTS), with intakes in January, March, July and September. Sea freight links business and industry in ever more complex supply chains, and the programme prepares you to manage them with modern management concepts. Specialisation modules cover operations and procedures in shipping and logistics, and the fundamentals and internationalisation of shipping and logistics. Each specialisation module runs alongside a core business module, so you apply theory straight to maritime cases in hands-on projects. You build skills in leadership, supply chain innovation and logistics planning, aiming at management roles in the sector or self-employment. Requirements include a Bachelor's of at least 180 ECTS, English at B2 and one year of work experience after your last degree.
