About the programme
Generative Design and AI is an English-taught, practice-led Master of Arts at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), based at its Innovation Hub in Potsdam near Berlin. You can take a Standard Track (120 ECTS) or a Fast Track (60 or 90 ECTS), starting in winter or summer, with classes typically Wednesday to Saturday. The programme trains designers on current generative AI platforms and code-based design techniques, with modules such as Generative AI, Computation Design and Creative Coding. It suits applicants with a degree or industry experience in UI/UX design, communication or graphic design, product design or a technology field. Graduates create digital content for social media, fashion, advertising, sports and entertainment, and digital products for health, wellness and retail, working in start-ups, design studios and technology companies. Application requirements include a portfolio, transcripts, proof of language skills, a CV and a copy of your passport.
