About the programme
Computer Science (Informatik) is an M.Sc. at the University of Augsburg over 4 semesters, taught in German and English, with open admission and entry in winter or summer. It follows on from a computer science Bachelor's and deepens practical, technical and theoretical computer science, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a flexible choice of courses for your own focus. Numerous projects make it practical and research-oriented, preparing you for research, industry or founding a company. Graduates work in programming, software engineering, system analysis, process automation, data analysis and AI. You need a computer science degree with an overall grade of 2.70 or better, German at B2 or English at B2 plus German at A2, and an APS certificate if your degree is from India, China or Vietnam.
