About the programme
Lightweight Construction and Simulation is a German-taught Master of Engineering at Landshut University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Landshut). Shorter product and development cycles and more complex systems call for simulation, and lightweight construction matters more and more for energy efficiency. The programme deepens your education in lightweight construction, product and process development and computer-aided engineering (CAE). You learn to understand and design development and manufacturing processes in a complex environment and to develop new products and technologies with modern CAE methods and tools. It runs full time for three semesters with 90 ECTS and starts in the summer or winter semester. Graduates work as specialists or managers in calculation, design and development, or go on to a doctorate.
