About the programme

Interdisciplinary Engineering is an MSc at Trier University of Applied Sciences that trains engineers to combine specialist knowledge across disciplines. It takes 3 semesters and 90 ECTS, and you can start in the summer or winter semester. Content from electrical engineering, mechanical and automotive engineering, technical building services, industrial engineering and medical engineering is combined with interdisciplinary team projects and seminars, and your core discipline is usually the field of your first degree. The programme has an international focus and is partly offered in English, but from summer 2025 only a limited number of courses are in English, and German courses at B1 and B2 level are offered. It suits graduates in one of these fields.
