M.Sc. Information Engineering (at TUM Campus Heilbronn)

Information Engineering is a full-time, English-language Master of Science at TUM Campus Heilbronn, over four semesters with 120 credits, with a start in the winter or the summer semester. Data, software to analyse it and hardware to put it to use hold great potential across industries, and you learn to analyse and develop cyber-physical systems and turn them into innovative business models. The programme covers in-depth informatics knowledge along with basics in information technology and economics. You work on sensor technology for data collection, advanced algorithms and machine learning to evaluate information, automated and semi-automated decisions in cyber-physical systems, and business models built on these systems. You can choose an individual focus in Generative Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Process Mining, Data Visualization or Numerical Linear Algebra. Required modules include Fundamentals in Information Engineering. Admission is through an aptitude assessment.
