About the programme

Automotive Production Engineering is an English-taught Master of Engineering at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) that gives you in-depth knowledge of modern production systems in the car industry, combining engineering and business. You study manufacturing technologies, engineering processes and production strategies and build a thorough technical understanding. Practical projects are central: a research seminar in the first semester and a group project in the second have you tackle real industrial challenges with scientific methods. The programme runs full time for three semesters (90 ECTS) and starts in the summer semester. It prepares you for specialist and management roles such as production planner, plant and equipment planner, production engineer, or work in planning, production management and technology development in international companies.
