About the programme

Aerospace at TUM in Garching is a full-time, four-semester Master of Science with 120 ECTS, with a start in the winter or the summer semester. You can study it entirely in German, entirely in English or in both, with a broad range of modules offered in English. Growing demands for environmental and noise protection call for new developments in areas such as automation and drive systems, opening the way to new concepts like unmanned and electric aircraft. You learn about the concepts and development of space vehicles, satellites and their subsystems and components, and you gain an understanding of flying systems as a whole. The programme trains a process-led, verifiable, international and interdisciplinary way of working. It suits you if you want to design aircraft that fly faster, higher and further, or explore what is technically possible in space travel. Admission is through an aptitude assessment.

If you have completed your undergraduate degree (e.g. bachelor's) outside of India, the APS certificate will still be listed in the online application portal as mandatory for admission. In this case, you need to submit a certified copy of your final graduation documents / degree certificate as certified copy to TUM within the enrollment period.
