About the programme
Computer Science (Informatik) is an English-taught, practice-oriented Master of Science at TU Berlin that prepares you to help shape AI-driven digital change professionally and responsibly. It lasts four semesters with 120 credits and starts in the summer or winter semester. The programme combines a main area, elective modules and a master's thesis, with a broad range of modules you can combine flexibly. Study fields include data and software engineering, embedded systems, fundamentals of computer science, and media technology and human-machine interaction, and optional tracks give a certified specialisation. Seminars, projects and the thesis are closely linked to current research, and many fellow students come from abroad. You can usually spend part of your studies abroad. It suits graduates in computer science or a closely related field.
