About the programme
The MSc Mechatronics at Reutlingen University is taught in German and takes 3 or 4 semesters. It gives you in-depth knowledge of current fields of mechatronics, working heavily with computer-aided design methods and simulation tools, and prepares you for tasks where mechanical, electronic and software problems have to be solved together. You choose a focus in Microelectronics or Automation, with modules such as an automation engineering project and machine vision and artificial intelligence, plus electives such as production automation and power electronics. Teaching uses seminar-style lectures, team projects and networked hardware and software labs. Semesters or theses abroad at partner universities are possible. It suits graduates in mechatronics or a related technical field.
