About the programme
The MSc Mechanical Engineering at Reutlingen University builds on your Bachelor's and strengthens your technical and scientific way of working. It takes 3 or 4 semesters, is taught in German and English, and starts in mid-March or early October. You gain in-depth knowledge in design, manufacturing, calculation, simulation and energy technology, and choose between two specialisations: Product Development or Energy Technology. Besides lectures, almost every module uses problem- and project-based teaching, including a product development project, and you can put your own projects into practice on industrial machines in the machine hall. Project work and theses are often done with industry partners, and semesters abroad and theses at partner universities are possible. It suits graduates in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
