About the programme
The Computer Science Master of Science at Leibniz University Hannover gives you in-depth training across computer science. You learn to understand and structure computing problems and their applications independently, build abstract models, and design solutions that match the state of the art. You set your own focus from areas such as computational health informatics, data science, databases, IT security and human-computer interaction, machine learning and language processing, software engineering, system and computer architecture, theoretical computer science and visual analytics. A double degree with TU Wien, with an integrated stay abroad, is a special option. The programme lasts four semesters, starts in winter or summer, and can be studied part time. You can study in German or in English. Graduates can work across industry, take on managerial IT roles or go on to a doctorate.
