About the programme
Computational Methods in Engineering (CME) is an interdisciplinary Master of Science at Leibniz University Hannover. Modelling and simulation are now essential tools for planning and analysis in engineering, from biomedical diagnostics to vehicle navigation and energy-efficient buildings, and this programme gives you advanced knowledge of mathematics, computer science and mechanics to solve problems across many fields. Teaching is in English, with optional modules offered in German. The programme lasts four semesters, can be started in winter or summer, and can be studied part time; a stay abroad is possible but not required.
