About the programme
Production and Operations Management is an English-taught Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), run by KIT's HECTOR School as a work-integrated programme. It is part-time, though you are enrolled as a full-time student, and takes 15 months plus about 9 months for the Master's thesis, for 90 ECTS. It starts every year in October, with a flexible schedule possible, and applications are rolling. The programme covers Industry 4.0 and smart factories, supply network management and supply chain optimisation, international production and distribution networks, virtual engineering from CAD to CAx, prescriptive analytics and operations research, machine learning and AI, autonomous robotics, and sustainable production and logistics.
