About the programme
The Master of Science in Data Science at Ilmenau University of Technology is a four-semester programme worth 120 credit points, taught in English, with a start on 1 April or 1 October. It builds on a bachelor's background and works at the meeting point of scientific innovation and industry. You are introduced to AI-supported decision-making based on mathematical models for important societal issues, with a special focus on quantifying uncertainty and on causal and Bayesian inference. The Special Provisions of the Examination and Study Regulations of the Master Media and Communication Science and International Busines Economics programms require the applicant to provide a letter of motivation.
