About the programme
The M.Sc. Computer Science at Hof University of Applied Sciences prepares you for complex development tasks in a connected, digital world over 3 semesters, with entry in winter or summer, though most students start in summer. Its main areas are cyber security, usability and user experience, data engineering and software architecture, asking how applications can be secure yet easy to use, how data can be analysed without breaching privacy, and how software can be built in an agile way and still scale. You also gain skills in IT law, organisation and leadership. The first two semesters are compulsory modules, and the third is a 30-credit Master's thesis with a company or the Institute of Information Systems. It suits graduates of computer science, media informatics, business informatics or similar programmes.
