About the programme

Intelligent Mechatronic Systems is a Master of Engineering at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences that adds artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent control to the classic mix of mechanics, electronics and computer science. The aim is to build autonomous, adaptive and efficient systems for industries from automotive to robotics. Modules include statistical methods, selected topics in mathematics, design of experiments, numerical methods and optimisation, an engineering project and academic and professional skills, with German as a foreign language on offer, and you finish with a thesis and colloquium. The programme is taught in English, lasts three semesters (90 ECTS), and starts in winter or summer. It is aimed at anyone who wants to help shape the next generation of intelligent systems. Graduates can work in research, development and industry.
