About the programme
SINReM, the International Master of Science in Sustainable and Innovative Natural Resource Management, is an Erasmus+ master's programme listed by EIT RawMaterials. It starts from the fact that raw materials are among the fastest depleting resources on Earth, while a steady and sustainable supply is vital for a decarbonising society, renewable energy infrastructure, electric mobility, consumer products and electronics. The old make-take-use-dispose model no longer works in a world of finite resources. Three European universities developed the programme together: Ghent University in Belgium, TU Freiberg in Germany and Uppsala University in Sweden. It aims to educate professionals who can develop solutions for the sustainable use of materials and build competence and confidence in this field.
