About the programme
Civil Engineering is a German-taught Master of Engineering at Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da) for civil engineers facing new challenges such as the sustainability and energy efficiency of infrastructure, modern building materials, new calculation methods and the demands of modern construction management. The modules combine courses, project work and lab phases, and the programme is more scientifically oriented than the bachelor's; your chosen specialisation is shown on your certificate. It lasts three or four semesters, starts in the winter or summer semester, and can also be studied in a dual format. The degree qualifies you for a doctorate and for the higher civil service. It suits bachelor's graduates in engineering.
