About the programme

Angewandte Forschung in den Ingenieurwissenschaften (Applied Research in Engineering Sciences) is a German-taught, project-based Master of Science at TH Aschaffenburg. You choose your own research project and work on it from the first to the third semester, in a direction such as renewable energy, materials science, electrical and information technology, applied computer science, mechatronics or digital medical technology. Lectures and seminars make up only about a third of the workload, so most of your time goes into the project. You build an individual study plan and work in small groups. The programme runs full time with 90 ECTS over three semesters and starts in summer or winter. It suits engineering graduates.
