Prerequisites

  • Applicants must provide a qualified university degree in a Bachelor's program with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters and 180 credits. They will be admitted in the 4-semester master's program "Media Engineering". It starts in the winter semester of each academic year. A total of 120 credits must be earned.
  • Applicants with a qualified university degree in a Bachelor's program " from the field of computer science or in comparable programs with a standard period of study of at least 7 semesters and 210 credits can be admitted to the 3-semester program "Media Engineering". This can be started in the summer semester. A total of 90 credits must be earned.
  • Applicants who did not earn their Bachelor's degree at an English-speaking university must demonstrate proficiency in English at level B2 (TOEFL min 90 pts. (ibT), IELTS min. 6.5) in the Common European Framework of Reference.

1. final grade first academic degree:

  • overall grades up to 2.0 (German grading scale) go into the selection process
  • overall grades lower than 2.0 (German grading scale) cannot be admitted

2. other criteria:

  • pertinence of bachelor's degree program
  • if necessary aptitude interview
