The English Masters for Waldorf Teachers, a Master of Arts with 90 credits. It is full-time, lasts 18 months and the next listed start is February 2027.

The tuition is 16,000 euros. The university says scholarships are possible depending on need.

Currently Foreign Languages, Handicrafts, Physical Education, Woodwork and Music are possible, as long as there are five or more applicants per subject.

The programme FAQ says you do not need German beforehand, though it suggests learning some before you come. For English, you need to read course texts and follow seminar discussions, and the FAQ says a level of at least B2 would be expected.

Along with the application form from the website, you send a CV, a letter of motivation explaining why you want to be a Waldorf teacher, a certified academic transcript in English and one photo.

It helps you find a place to live and has a limited number of places in its own student housing. The student visa is your own responsibility, although the university helps students from countries where the visa application takes place in Germany.
