Clausthal University of Technology (TU Clausthal)

Tuition

No tuition fees for most programmes

Public universities in Lower Saxony do not charge tuition fees for consecutive Bachelor's and Master's programmes, for EU and non-EU students alike. You also pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) of roughly 70 to 460 EUR, set by each university, which often includes a public transport pass. Continuing-education and executive Master's programmes, which usually require work experience, can charge fees even at public universities, and private universities set their own fees, so check Clausthal University of Technology (TU Clausthal)'s fee page for its exact fees.

Estimated monthly living costs (general estimate)

International students also need to show proof of funds (a blocked account, currently €11,904/yr (approx. €992/mo)) for the student visa. Use our blocked account calculator and cost of living calculator for a personalised estimate.
