Tuition fees may apply for non-EU students
Bavaria has allowed its public universities to charge non-EU and non-EEA students tuition since the 2024/25 winter semester, and each one decides whether to charge and sets its own amount (for example, TU Munich charges 4,000 to 6,000 EUR per semester for Master's). Private universities set their own fees too. Check Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt's fee page for its current policy. You also pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) of roughly 70 to 460 EUR, set by each university, which often includes a public transport pass.

Accommodation
KU has campuses in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt, and you can choose one of two ways to find housing:
The private market in Ingolstadt is competitive and comparatively expensive, and affordable residence halls there often fill up before degree-seeking students finish their visa process. Eichstätt can be a good alternative, with regular trains between the two cities.
