About the programme
Environmental Engineering at the University of Stuttgart is a four-semester Master's on the engineering, technologies and processes needed to protect the environment and natural resources. Teaching is in German. It goes deeper into the basics of your Bachelor's across subject areas such as water, energy, waste, sewage, air purification, pollution control, traffic, environmental sciences, process engineering and fluid mechanics, and motor vehicles and emissions. Understanding and solving complex environmental problems needs an interdisciplinary qualification, so mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics play an important role alongside engineering. The aim is to train engineers. It suits you if you have a lively interest in science and engineering, enjoy theoretical questions and want to make methodical learning your own.
