About the programme
Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Applications is a Master of Science at OTH Amberg-Weiden that gives you deep insight into how AI and machine learning work and how industry uses them, for example in cooperative robots, process optimisation and quality assurance. Topics include natural language processing, computer vision, data analytics, autonomous robots and speech dialogue systems, taught with solid theory and current research. In small-group projects you design and prototype AI systems. It can be studied full time or part time, lasts three semesters (90 ECTS) full time, and starts in winter or summer. It is aimed at graduates with a relevant engineering or science degree, such as computer science, electrical and communication engineering, data science or technical mathematics. Graduates can work on driverless transport vehicles, AI-based image analysis, autonomous robots or voice systems in industry, business, universities or research, or go on to a doctorate.
