About the programme

The MSc Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ulm University is worth 120 ECTS, is taught in German and English, and you can start in the winter or summer semester. It builds on your Bachelor's and deepens your understanding of the core areas of modern electrical engineering, so that you can solve engineering problems on your own and design and implement solutions. You gain specialised knowledge in an area of concentration such as automation engineering, energy engineering, communications engineering, medical technologies or microelectronics. Besides lectures, you work on projects and seminars with lab components to apply what you learn and build teamwork skills, and voluntary industrial practice is encouraged alongside the university's research projects. The programme is flexible: you can deepen one specialisation while gaining a broad education in several core areas.
