M.Sc. Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering is a four-semester Master's at TH OWL (Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe) that deepens your technical expertise and prepares you for managerial roles in industry and science. In the first semester you expand what you learned in your bachelor's and get to know academic work, management and innovation strategies, including a module on management skills and business administration. In the second semester you deepen your own area of interest through compulsory electives, and the last two semesters are given to a research project and the master's thesis. Research projects, including through the it's OWL cluster, feed current practice into the coursework. Graduates can design, research and evaluate a broad range of electrical engineering systems and link technical knowledge with management and innovation. It suits graduates in electrical engineering, mechatronics or computer science, with a start in the summer or winter semester.
