About the programme

Integrated Circuit Design is an international Master of Science jointly awarded by TUM and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), taught in English in Singapore through TUM Asia. It runs full-time for two years, with 4 semesters and 120 ECTS. The programme aims to educate the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurial leaders for the fast-moving semiconductor industry. Billions of transistors now fit on a single chip, but the industry's ability to design successful products has not kept pace with manufacturing, so well-educated IC design engineers are in demand. Content ranges from analog, digital and mixed-circuit design over architectural concepts for integrated circuits to design methodology and automation. Applications open on 1 October every year, and you must show English proficiency through a recognised test if English is not your native language or your previous language of instruction.
