About the programme

Green Electronics is a specialised Master of Science offered jointly by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and TUM, taught in English with Singapore as its main location. Over two years of full-time study, with 4 semesters and 120 ECTS, you gain in-depth knowledge of micro- and nano-fabrication technology and advanced theory for renewable energy, power semiconductors and organic semiconductor devices and systems. The aim is to train the next generation of semiconductor researchers and engineers for novel electronic and optoelectronic devices, with a focus on energy, sensing, monitoring and manufacturing. Non-technical topics such as product marketing, international management, patent law and globalisation are taught mainly by lecturers from industry. Graduates work in research institutes and green electronics companies worldwide, in roles such as process development, process integration, characterisation and device modelling. It suits graduates in electrical or electronics engineering or a closely related field.
