About the programme
Electrical Systems Engineering is an English-taught, research-oriented Master of Science at Paderborn University. It deals with electrical systems at an advanced level: analysing, designing and evaluating them in hardware and software, with a solid grounding in the theories and methods of system design. The two-year, four-semester programme (120 ECTS) offers two specialisations: Signal and Information Processing, and Electronics and Devices, focused on integrated circuit design. Compulsory courses include Advanced System Theory, Modeling and Simulation and Management of Technical Projects. You can start in the summer or winter semester, and German is not needed. It suits graduates with a bachelor's in electrical engineering or a related field.
