About the programme
Mobility Systems Engineering and Management is an English-taught Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), run by KIT's HECTOR School as a work-integrated programme. It is part-time, though you are enrolled as a full-time student, and takes 15 months plus about 9 months for the Master's thesis, for 90 ECTS. It starts every year in October, with a flexible schedule possible, and applications are rolling. The focus is modern automotive systems: cyber-physical systems and big data in the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, automotive standards and applications such as autonomous driving and alternative drivetrains, data communication technologies such as CAN and Ethernet, worldwide release and configuration management, advanced testing, safety and security under ISO 26262, and process maturity assessments. One engineering module takes place in Budapest, Hungary. It suits professionals with a first degree, at least two years of work experience and good English.
