Prerequisites

1. Completed university degree-degree in (industrial) engineering, a technical-scientific or comparable subject

90 ECTS credits in the program profile "Business" (4 semesters)

90 ECTS credit points in the study program "Technology" (4 semesters)

60 ECTS Credit Points (3 semesters)

2. 3. Applicants with a completed first degree course of 180 ECTS Credit Points with an engineering or scientific-technical orientationwill be admitted to the master program "Industrial Engineering" with 90 ECTS Credit Points in the program profile "Business" under condition. This condition guarantees the provision of an additional 30 ECTS credit points - and thus 300 ECTS credit points for the bachelor's and master's degree altogether. The modules to be completed for this purpose are specified concretely to the applicants in orientation to the relevant requirements of economic engineering qualifications. If applicants can not prove the necessary basics in the areas of business administration, accounting & financial statements, cost and performance accounting, fundamentals of marketing and basics of commercial law, the requirement includes completion of the respective modules before or during the studies.

4. For all other cases of university applicants with a first degree with an engineering, scientific-technical or economics orientation with 210 ECTS Credit Points or with 240 ECTS Credit Points, a case-by-case examination is carried out. For these cases, approval may be subject to conditions. The requirements are based on relevant requirements of economic engineering qualifications and serve to ensure the technical-mathematical and business management fundamentals analogous to the above-mentioned specifications. Depending on the case, modules must be completed to ensure the appropriate basis before starting the Master's program. Otherwise, modules can be completed during the Master's program, whereby the respective standard period of study is considered to be a deadline for these modules.
