About the programme

Industrial Engineering is a German-taught Master of Science at Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da), taught in Darmstadt and Dieburg, for graduates in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering. It lays, extends and consolidates both economic and engineering knowledge, drawing on three departments: electrical engineering and information technology, mechanical and plastics engineering, and business administration. The programme usually lasts three semesters: in the first two semesters you build your own study plan across economics and technology, and the last is for your thesis. Graduates of technical programmes take a four-semester version that begins with a semester of core economics. The programme starts in winter or summer and a dual format is available. Graduates work at the interface of technology and management, start their own business or go into research.
