About the programme
Electrical Engineering (continuing education) is a German-taught distance-learning Master of Science at Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da) for engineers who want to keep studying without interrupting their career. You study part time alongside full-time work, in a four-semester or a six-semester version, with specialisations in automation technology, microelectronics, power engineering and medical technology. The programme has four study sections: interdisciplinary skills in workplace communication and electronic systems design; specialisation in your chosen field; project development and management; and the master's thesis, with social competence topics such as staff management added. You can start in the winter or summer semester. It suits working graduates in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science or a related field.
