About the programme
Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering) is a part-time distance-learning Master of Science run jointly by TH Aschaffenburg, Hochschule Darmstadt and the zfh distance-learning network, taught in German. It is designed for engineers working in technology-focused companies who want to update their electrical engineering knowledge and work on soft skills. Topics include interpersonal communication at work, automation, microelectronics and energy technology, and you exchange ideas with fellow students from other engineering fields. About 80 percent of the work is self-study, with eight on-campus days on Fridays and Saturdays each semester in Aschaffenburg or Darmstadt and online study groups. The programme has 120 ECTS over four to six semesters, the equivalent of a four-semester full-time master's. It suits graduates in engineering or a related field.
