Six things to check in any MS in Germany consultancy
What to checkWhy it mattersHow to check itWhere MS in Germany stands
Focus on public universitiesMost public universities in Germany charge little or no tuition.Ask which universities they apply to. Check if each one is public or private. Most of our students go to public universities. We also help with private ones.
Real admits shown openlyAnyone can say “many admits”. Real names and universities are harder to fake.Ask to see admits with the student, university, course and intake (the term the course starts). Our admits are public on our success stories page.
Reviews you can readReviews from real students tell you how the help felt, not just the result.Read their Google reviews yourself, not only the ones on their own site.4.9 out of 5 on Google (opens in a new tab). Student reviews are on our reviews page.
Real offices you can visitAn office you can walk into means real people you can find.Look up the address on Google Maps. Visit or call that office.4 offices in India: Hubli, Kochi, Bangalore and Chennai. Addresses are on our contact page.
Prices shown before you payIf the price only comes after a sales call, it is hard to compare.Look for a public price page. Ask what is not included.Packages are ₹29,999, ₹49,999 and ₹1,19,999, shown on our pricing page.
Refund terms in writingYou should know what happens to your money before you pay.Ask for the refund terms in writing, before you pay.You can ask for a refund within 30 days of joining any package. On the ₹1,19,999 Premium package, if you get no admit in two intakes, you get ₹40,000 back. Full rules are in our terms and conditions and the package rules you accept when you join.

1. Focus on public universities

Public universities are the ones run by the German states. Most of them charge little or no tuition, so many students aim for them. A few, such as TUM and the universities in Baden-Württemberg, do charge students from outside the EU, so check each course page.

Some consultancies earn money from private universities when you join one. That can make them suggest private universities first. Ask which universities they apply to, and check each one yourself.

Our answer: most of our students go to public universities, and we also help with private ones. You can also search universities and courses yourself, free, on our course search.

2. Real admits shown openly

An admit is a letter from a university that says it will take you. Every consultancy says it gets admits. Ask to see them: the student’s name, the university, the course and the intake (the term the course starts, like Winter 2027).

If a consultancy shows only big numbers with no names, ask for real examples.

Our answer: our admits are public. See real students, their university, course and intake on our success stories page.

3. Reviews you can read

Reviews tell you how it felt to work with a consultancy: did they answer on time, and did they explain things clearly? Read reviews on Google, not only the ones a consultancy puts on its own website.

Our answer: we are rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google (opens in a new tab). You can also read what students say on our reviews page.

4. Real offices you can visit

An office you can visit means real people you can find. Look up the address on Google Maps, and visit or call before you pay.

Our answer: we have 4 offices in India, in Hubli, Kochi, Bangalore and Chennai. The full addresses and phone numbers are on our contact page. We also help students online, by phone and on WhatsApp.

5. Prices shown before you pay

A fair consultancy tells you the price before a long sales call. It also tells you what is not included in the price, such as university application fees or courier costs.

Our answer: our prices are on our pricing page for anyone to see.

  • Basic, ₹29,999: up to 3 university applications.
  • Standard, ₹49,999: up to 10 applications, with APS help.
  • Premium, ₹1,19,999: unlimited applications for 2 intakes, and ₹40,000 back if you get no admit (rules apply, see below).

Uni-assist fees and courier charges are not in any package. You also pay the APS fee, the dMAT exam fee, university application fees and notary fees (a fee to make copies of your documents official) yourself. See every service and its price on our services page.

6. Refund terms in writing

Before you pay anyone, ask one question: what happens to my money if things go wrong? Get the answer in writing.

Our answer: you can ask for a refund within 30 days of joining any package. We keep part of the money for work we have already done.

On Premium, if you get no admit in two intakes one after the other, you get ₹40,000 back. There are rules: you must apply to every course on your shortlist (your final list of courses), delays can cancel this promise, and we send the money back after all your universities have replied. Read the full rules in our terms and conditions before you pay. The package rules you accept when you join also apply.

When you may not need a consultancy

Many students apply on their own, and that is fine. If you apply to only a few public universities, have your language score and like reading official pages, you can do it yourself.

Paid help is worth it when time is short, you are not sure your credits are enough to get into the course, or you apply to many courses at once. We are Germany study abroad consultants and also a free platform, which means a website anyone can use. Our course search, our tools and our guides stay free, whether you pay us or not.
